Wordless Wednesday (1 day late)

Hey! It happened on Wednesday.... and it's only a day late.

And it's almost Friday!

Bridesmaids

Yes, I have 5. And I love them. I love them a lot. But, I am not talking about them. It's these ones that I am talking about:

So, I did the natural thing, and invited a bridesmaid, April, to come with me. Christopher got mad so I told him he could come, too. he wasn't that excited but I read him [parts] of some reviews that were convincing that it was not a "chick flick." (and despite the number of chicks... it is not for those that are weak in heart  stomach) I was sitting in between April and Christopher in the theater and I swear that there were times that they were both choking they were laughing so hard. And yes, I laughed out loud. So that means it was really funny. And we're already making plans to go and see it AGAIN!

Finally... it's Friday!

Well this week has been monumental...


First, there was the BIG tests....

(and NO, I did not take this picture. That would be a test security violation because I would have used an imaging device... only people who read these words four times this week or for many years know what I mean... we actually have to read that statement to our students...)



And then yesterday there was.... (drum roll please)

an offer on my house!

Great news but it means that someone will be moving out in 2 weeks! Let the packing begin (and figuring out where in the world the boxes will be delivered to... yeah, minor issue, I know!).

Wordless Wednesday

Drawing a Blank

I know there are so many things that I could say on here. Yet, it isn't coming to me, so I might have to ramble for a minute. (and yes, I will be numbering my ramblings)

1. XM changed it's channel numbers. It doesn't make me mad, just drives me crazy!

2. I have decided that if I could be friends with celebrities, these would be my "friends:" 

You see, I listen to Oprah XM every morning on my 30 minute (or longer if I get behind a school bus) drive to work. And apparently Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks were on the show Friday, May 6th. Well, I didn't see the show but they had me laughing out loud (seriously) in the car on a Monday morning. And you have to be REALLY funny to make me laugh on a Monday morning. And then, I had class last night and I got to hear it again on my way home. And guess what? It was STILL funny. I am pretty sure we'd be GREAT friends. 


3.  We have state testing this week. And we didn't have it today. "Why?" you ask. Well, because it's Confederate Memorial Day (duh!) and of course we wouldn't want to test on Confederate Memorial Day (yeah, right!). Crazy, I tell you. I love the South. I really do. But, really? Confederate Memorial Day? Really? And for the record I believe that EVERY darn school in our great state was in school, not observing the holiday as our state department might believe.


4.  I miss my dog. He lives in Florence while my house is on the market. (Yes, it's still for sale!)  I need him back in my life. I am pretty sure he isn't feeling the same because he is getting spoiled ROTTEN by his grandparents. Lucky dog!

Spring break

So, I have spent the last week on Spring Break. I can't believe it's Friday already, but it is! And it has been that crazy, busy, but somehow fun kind of week.

Let me tell you how excited I was when I found out the dress FIT!
I was so nervous. I got fitted the 1st weekend in February and a lot can happen in 2 1/2 months!

(including a half marathon, a birthday cake, etc.)

And don't worry-
we also did some fabulous shopping at our favorites

and ate some amazing food while we were there, too.

Dream Interpretations

You know how some people interpret dreams? I always thought it was kind of crazy. But, lately I have been waking up in a total panic about my dreams. The crazy thing is... I don't think it would take an interpreter to figure them out.

Exhibit A:

I wake up in a total panic because of this:

Yes, a messy house! And no that is not MY house... and thank heavens I can say that it really wasn't all that messy in my dream either. But, it was a mess.And I was going to work and leaving it a mess!  

My interpretation:  My house is for sale! Everyday, I sweep, wipe cabinets, counter tops, you name it to make sure my house is spotless in the event that someone wants to come a see it, which has happened all of once at this point... I am just trusting God that He has someone for this house, but let me tell you.... I can NOT wait to meet them!

Exhibit B:

Yes, that is a monogram. Only in my dream, I gave someone a monogrammed bag with the WRONG monogram embroidered on it. The horror?!?

My Interpretation: I really don't know. But, I am thinking that if sending someone a gift is the worst thing that could happen to me, my life must be pretty good. Or I am totally stressing out about the wrong things in life. And to be honest, both of those are true.


I am sure that the dream experts would have something else to say about my dreams, but I think they are telling me that my life is definitely alright, and if those are the worst things that I can come up with, I need to say a prayer of gratitude and be a little more thankful!
